The views from our suite were breathtaking, completely
immersing us in the beauty of Lake Taupo. Our hosts, Peter and Michelle, thoughtfully arranged a farm tour which included meeting and feeding their deer. Their homemade bread for breakfast was an unexpected highlight, though we wished for a little extra variety in the meal options.

The fresh homemade brioche served for breakfast was absolutely unforgettable and a delightful treat to start each day.
The Wi-Fi was unfortunately spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected during our visit.

serene, serene, serene
The gardens and countryside views are amazing. Hand feeding the deer was a unique experience that added so much to our stay. Peter and Michelle's breakfasts were great, featuring eggs from their own chickens and fresh garden spinach, all paired with fantastic coffee.

The suite with the garden view offered a cozy atmosphere that made for a comfortable stay. Returning to the room after a busy day was always a welcome relief, adding to the overall enjoyment.
During the second night, the towels weren't replaced, and the bed remained unmade, which was a slight inconvenience. On a particularly hot day, the lack of shade for the outside seating area limited our ability to enjoy the stunning views comfortably.

Breathtaking views and exceptionally clean accommodations made for an unforgettable getaway. The full breakfasts were delightful, featuring sweet homemade treats that started our mornings off right. However, the Wi-Fi was inconsistent at times, and some outdoor seating lacked shade, limiting our ability to relax fully. Despite these minor hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our time immersing ourselves in nature and bonding with the charming dogs on the property.

great views but minor room issues
The views from the suite are stunning I could see the mountains and lake in the distance every morning. My hosts were incredibly accommodating and even prepared breakfast at 6:30am on our hiking day. The heated towel rack in the bathroom is a thoughtful addition that I truly appreciated.
The room could have been a tad more spacious for two people.
